BACKGROUND

Dennis Parra retired early (20 years) from San Diego Gas & Electric Company, where he held various positions as Marketing Planner, Construction & Builder Representative, established the Energy Information Office and was supervisor of the Energy Conservation Sales Department.

Dennis founded D.E. Parra & Associates, established in 1976 as a General Contracting, Consulting and Building Inspection firm. He established a full service inspection, pre-construction planning, energy auditing, reserve analysis and total retro-fit construction company with a strong emphasis in moisture intrusion problems, roofing, sub grade and general waterproofing.

Since 1985, Dennis (D.E. Parra & Associates dba Parra Building Consultants) has devoted full time to Building Inspections, Code Compliance, Reserve Analysis, Expert Witness and Roof/Moisture Infiltration Consulting with over 20,000 certified inspections and related projects. For the past thirty years Dennis has been a guest lecturer at area colleges, schools and planning groups. He has also been a featured speaker at numerous CREIA conferences, seminars and work shops.
